Choose application
Select greenhouse, vertical farm, office, retail, education, healthcare, or industrial interior. Note the target plane and operating schedule.
Quick Select
Use four specification rows to prepare a product discussion. The tool does not replace calculation; it makes the first comparison more disciplined.
Select greenhouse, vertical farm, office, retail, education, healthcare, or industrial interior. Note the target plane and operating schedule.
Enter PPFD and DLI for crops, or illuminance and distribution needs for commercial interiors. Include uniformity and glare limits where applicable.
Record suspension or recessed condition, mounting height, spacing limits, ambient temperature, access, voltage, and required IP rating.
Choose 0–10V, DALI-2, scheduling, sensing, gateway integration, or a defined standalone dimming method.
Use values that describe the intended operating condition, not only catalog maxima. A greenhouse target should identify canopy height and photoperiod, while an office target should state workplane height, surface assumptions, and glare criteria. Where inputs are unknown, label them as open decisions so a calculation does not silently convert an estimate into a requirement.
| Decision | Horticultural project | Commercial interior | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|---|
| Output | Target PPFD, DLI, uniformity | Delivered lumens, lux, uniformity | Calculated plane and layout assumptions |
| Light quality | Spectrum and crop strategy | CCT, CRI, TM-30, UGR | Tested spectral or photometric report |
| Environment | Humidity, temperature, sanitation | Ceiling, ambient, task, service access | IP rating and operating limits |
| Control | Schedules, zones, dimming range | 0–10V, DALI-2, sensors, daylight | Wiring and commissioning guidance |
A defensible comparison uses the exact optical, electrical, spectrum, and driver configuration proposed. Family-level claims can conceal meaningful differences in distribution, input power, thermal limits, and dimming behavior.
