Dimension 1: What the Light Actually Does for Plants
A bulk ceiling light is usually designed around lumens and color rendering index (CRI). Those metrics tell you how a space looks to a person. They don't tell you whether a plant will photosynthesize efficiently. The old “more watts equals more growth” advice ignores that. Wattage is an input, not an output.

If your customer needs a ceiling light for an office, a hallway, or a non-grow area inside a greenhouse facility, bulk ceiling lights are perfectly fine. Just buy from a supplier with proper certifications and a stable production history.
And if you're building a greenhouse lighting private label line, the Fluence private label route is worth the investment. You're still selling a real product line, but you're avoiding a lot of hidden costs: photometric testing, spec writing, warranty risk, and production changes that appear out of nowhere.
